Our Story
Three Friends Anand, Chintamani and Deepa from Pune after a decade met in Singapore during 2012, where they were running their own race into corporate, research and education field respectively. Looking at quality fruits and veggies in Singapore, ignited idea of India calling and going back-2-roots and startup Natural/Organic farming.
RootsAg was incorporated in late 2019 to nourish the world naturally making natural/organic food way of life, ground work was kicked off during early 2016. Initial 4 years have been fantastic learning journey that has helped us in understanding all the nitty-gritty of organic/natural farming and now we have successful sustainable model spanning over 7 acres of open cultivation and 2 acres of protected cultivation in polyhouse.
Building trust and gaining confidence through our loyal customer base of over 500+ families, demand is surging to serve more families in Pune and beyond, that is driving our next phase of scale up, making coming years an exciting time to be part of RootsAg.

Management graduate from SIBM Pune, versatile and enterprising professional with hands-on International and India experience of 20 years in agriculture, specialty chemicals, irrigation and financial service industry. Worked for leading MNCs in India and Singapore. Leveraging all the skills to put processes and strategies in place for RootsAg to scale sustainably

Chintamani Ghole
PhD in Plant breeding from NUS - Singapore, deep rooted technical know how and passionate about plants with practical experience of protected and open farm production. Worked for leading MNCs into R&D and currently busy in delivering quality fresh produce delighting consumer families consistently.

Deepa Dani
Management graduate with love for gardening has worked in education field in Singapore and currently enjoying building customer base for RootsAg working closely with all the stakeholders to deliver right produce at right time to right customer.
